Robotics Engineering

Robotics Engineering is the branch of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing.

Robotics Engineering was invented and introduced to provide comfort to humans by doing monotonous, laborious and hazardous jobs. Robotics is again a concept; depends on how it is implemented. e.g. Google employs robotics software code to index billions of websites across the globe. It would be interesting to learn that here only Computer Science is employed and nothing else.
