Vending Machine

INTRODUCTION

Vending machines are automatic tools that embedded with the program to act as a human vendor who gives goods for money. We pay money to the shopkeeper or vendor and buy the product from them. Similarly we pay the price of the opted goods and vending machine dispenses it through the outlet inbuilt in it. The payment could be through cash or cards.

The goods in the vending machine have a unique serial number which is selected by the customer with the help of its respective button, then payment is made and the machine releases the selected product to the customer. It is a self service, take away facility and does not require human interventions to sell products.

There is wide variety of usage of a vending machine. Vending machine is used to sell small goods like:

  • Electronics goods like charger, head phones.
  • Best example is ticket vending machine at railway stations and metro stations.
