Electrical Engineering is a professional discipline of engineering that in general deals with the study and application of electronics, electricity and electromagnetism.

Electrical engineering has now been divided into a good range of fields which incorporates computer, power engineering, computer engineering, microelectronics, frequency engineering, control systems, signal processing, instrumentation, telecommunications and electronics itself

Many of the above mentioned disciplines might overlap with other engineering branches, spanning an enormous number of specializations like electrochemistry, hardware engineering, electromagnetics & waves, mechatronics, microwave engineering, power electronics, renewable energies, nanotechnology and electrical materials science.
